The Aspire Active Air is an 8" (approximately 20 cm) alternating pressure mattress designed for use with a homecare or hospital-style bed base. Alternating pressure mattresses cyclically inflate and deflate individual air cells to redistribute pressure across the body, reducing the risk of pressure injuries for people who are bed-bound or spend long periods in bed. Often prescribed for people with limited ability to reposition themselves, skin integrity concerns, circulation problems or following tissue damage.
